Terms of Use

These draft Terms of Use describe the AI Media Studio website and desktop application, including the live Community and Arena features. They are not approved for a paid public launch.

Legal review release blocker: external counsel and the operator must approve the publisher business identity and address, refund terms, governing jurisdiction, age limit, DMCA/copyright agent and process, and final policy language before taking payment.

Software License and Supported Platform

The intended offer is a one-time, non-transferable AI Media Studio Pro software license priced at $19.99 USD unless a final checkout states otherwise. Version 1.0.0 is supported only on Apple Silicon (arm64) Macs running macOS 12.0 or later and uses manual installer updates. Windows, Linux, and Intel Mac are not supported in this release.

BYOK and Third-Party Providers

AI Media Studio uses a bring-your-own-key model. When you choose a provider, prompts, reference images, generated media requests, settings, and related technical metadata are transmitted to that provider to perform the request. Third-party providers apply their own fees, quotas, availability, content rules, retention practices, and terms. You are responsible for your provider accounts, credentials, permissions, and charges.

Adobe Firefly API and browser-session integrations are disabled for version 1.0.0 because their shipping credential/configuration path has not been verified. Their implementation is not part of the supported release scope.

AI Output and User Responsibility

AI output can be inaccurate, offensive, unavailable, non-unique, or subject to third-party rights. You must review output before use and are responsible for determining whether your prompts, inputs, outputs, and intended use comply with law, intellectual-property rights, privacy rights, and each provider's policies. The software does not promise ownership, originality, commercial suitability, or legal clearance of any output.

Local Data and Backups

Project metadata, settings, prompt history, notes, and indexes are stored in a local SQLite database. Generated media and exports are stored as files on your Mac. You are responsible for device security and backups. Removing the app does not necessarily remove its local data; use documented deletion steps or contact support when assistance is needed.

Account and Access

• You must provide accurate purchase and contact information.
• You are responsible for securing your machine and account credentials.
• License misuse, abuse, or fraudulent activity may result in revocation.
• A Pro license is intended for up to three authorized Macs under the current product configuration.

Hosted Services and Subprocessors

Supabase supports accounts, licensing, Community publication and assets, voting, challenges, reports, moderation, and Arena activity data; Stripe processes checkout and payments; Vercel hosts the website and licensing API; Resend delivers transactional license and recovery email; and Upstash supports distributed rate limiting. These services process data under their own terms and privacy notices. Additional detail appears in the Privacy Policy.

Community and User-Generated Content

Community and Arena currently provide public comparisons, creator profiles, model leaderboards, and creator challenges. Browsing public material does not require an account. Voting and reporting require sign-in; completing a publication requires an active Pro license linked to the account. The paid checkout gate remains closed while launch requirements are unresolved.

Submitting a comparison uploads your selected images, share assets, full prompt, and supplied model and generation details for review. Approved public comparisons can be listed for discovery. Approved unlisted comparisons can be opened by anyone with the link. Published prompts and settings can be revealed after voting, in publicly listed revealed or dual model examples, and with completed challenge finalists. Blind voting is not a confidentiality control. Local comparisons and Export ZIP remain available without publishing.

Public comparison delivery requires an approved review state. Signed-in users can submit a comparison report for misleading content, abuse, copyright, or another concern. These technical controls do not establish a guaranteed review time, an appeal service, or a final copyright procedure. Community model rankings summarize eligible votes; challenge results recognize creators separately and do not establish model quality or legal clearance of an image.

The final content-hosting and reuse permissions, moderation standards, reporting and takedown procedure, repeat-abuse handling, appeals, evidence retention, and hosted deletion terms remain subject to operator and legal approval. No additional content license or response deadline is established by this factual update. Acceptable Use and Copyright

You agree not to use AI Media Studio to violate applicable law, intellectual-property or privacy rights, provider policies, security controls, or another person's access. The final DMCA/copyright notice-and-takedown procedure and designated agent are external legal/operator blockers and are not established by this draft.

Payments and Refunds

Stripe processes payments. The final refund window, eligibility rules, tax treatment, business identity, and dispute procedure require external counsel and operator approval before paid launch. This draft does not promise a refund window. The approved policy must be shown before checkout and linked from the receipt/support flow.

Availability, Manual Updates, and Third-Party Changes

Provider APIs, models, pricing, quotas, regions, and policies can change independently. Version 1.0.0 uses manual updates; install updates only from the official download page after matching the published version, architecture, file size, and SHA-256 checksum.

Warranty and Liability Draft

Proposed language: the software is provided "as is" without a promise of uninterrupted or error-free operation, and liability is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law. External counsel must adapt and approve this section for the selected jurisdiction before launch.

Retention, Deletion, and Changes

Retention and deletion behavior is described in the Privacy Policy. We may revise approved terms for product, provider, legal, or operational changes, with an updated effective date and any notice required by law. This release-candidate draft is not an effective final policy.
