Bring your own key (BYOK) means connecting API keys from your own model provider accounts. Free and Pro both require provider API access. Choose the providers you want to use, and pay them directly for generation. Neither plan includes provider credits or API fees.

Yes, you can use an existing provider account if it has API access to the models you want. Set up API billing or credits with that provider as required, create an API key, and add it in the app. You only need accounts for the providers you plan to use.

Check the provider's API terms rather than assuming a chat subscription includes API access or credits. For example, ChatGPT subscriptions and OpenAI API usage have separate billing. Paid OpenAI API usage needs billing set up in your API account. See OpenAI's billing explanation.

The version 1.0.0 integrations include OpenAI, Google Gemini and Veo, xAI, Kling, Fal, and Replicate where applicable. Model access depends on your credentials, account, region, provider quotas, and fees.

Adobe Firefly and Higgsfield are not part of the supported version 1.0.0 release.

Yes. Video has dedicated generation, gallery, prompts, notes, pricing, and analytics areas, with background job status and cancellation support. Available video models depend on your connected providers.

Your project metadata, prompt history, notes, and settings are stored locally. Generated media and exports are files on your Mac. When you generate or edit, the app sends the necessary prompts, reference images, and settings to your selected provider.

Accounts, licensing, support, and content you submit to Community use hosted services. Saved Arena setups and private comparisons remain in local app storage; signed-in Arena activity sends limited event metadata as described in the Privacy Policy. See the privacy policy for the full data flow and each provider's policy before sending sensitive content.

Yes. Arena, public comparisons and creator profiles, model rankings, and creator challenges are live. You can browse public material without signing in. Voting and reporting require sign-in, and completing a publication requires an active Pro license linked to your account. Paid checkout remains closed while launch requirements are unresolved.

Submitting for review uploads selected images, share assets, the full prompt, and model/settings details. Approved public comparisons can appear in discovery; approved unlisted comparisons are accessible to anyone with their link. Blind mode hides model identities until reveal, but does not keep the published prompt confidential. Recipes can be revealed after voting, in publicly listed revealed or dual model examples, and with completed challenge finalists.

Local comparisons and Export ZIP do not publish your work. Deleting a local image or signing out does not delete hosted shares or votes. See the Privacy Policy for the data flow, reporting, and deletion-request contact; final Community policy and retention decisions remain under review.

No. The planned Pro price is $19.99 USD as a one-time software purchase. Your account shows license status and any expiration. Provider generation charges are separate.

Free includes 10 image generations and 1 video generation per day. Images generated in comparisons count toward your daily image allowance. You still need your own API keys and pay provider usage fees. Pro removes those app daily caps and includes the advanced image editor and batch workflows.

A Pro license supports up to 3 Macs. Version 1.0.0 requires an Apple Silicon Mac running macOS 12.0 or later.

When paid launch is available, start checkout from the desktop app's licensing panel. If activation does not complete after purchase, use Find My License with your checkout email. Paid launch depends on final release verification and approved policies.

Open the purchase tab in the app and choose Find My License. Enter the same email used at checkout. If recovery still fails, contact support with your purchase email and session details.

The final refund policy requires approval and must be published before paid launch. No refund window has been promised. Read the current draft terms or contact support with prelaunch questions.
